Here’s a glimpse of Dover Lodge marching at the 2010 Westlake 4th of July Parade. A more complete video is in the making with the sights and sounds of the day, but for those who couldn’t make it out to join us here’s a brief look at your Brethren on that hot and sunny day!

Friends and Brethren of Dover Lodge, just a quick reminder that tomorrow (June 19, 2010) is our second annual work day! Work will begin at 9:00am, but breakfast will be served up until then. We will also enjoy some lunch at the end of the day courtesy of our grille chefs (a.k.a. Stewards). Please come out and join us!

• Work Gloves
• Paint rollers
• Paint brushes
• Paint pans
• Round-Up weed killer
• Safety glasses
• Garden hose
• The most important thing – YOU!!!

I am a newly conferred EA at Dover Lodge and I have been extremely impressed with the men of this fraternity.  I highly value the passion, commitment, and dedication from the Officer Team and Brethren to the gentle craft.  They pledge their dedication to each new brother and candidate to ensure that the individual is given what they need to maximize their own individual  journey.  Dover prides themselves on many attributes; however, none more than tradition and devotion.  I consider myself very fortunate and proud to be a part of a lodge that has many superb ambassadors working together and  accelerating our ancient fraternity into the future.  I would like to Thank the Brethren for the continuous loyalty and unbridled enthusiasm that reverberates throughout our lodge. -Mark Puwal, EA, Dover Lodge #489
