Perhaps as you’ve entered the door of Dover Lodge you’ve noticed a distinctive lamp lighting the entrance from above. While a source of pride for the Brothers of Dover Lodge in its excellent craftsmanship and the esthetically pleasing way it illuminates our entrance, its story is much deeper. This work, which was restored in recent years by our own Right Worshipful Brother Phelps, was presented as a memorial gift to Dover Lodge in 1936. Please see the letter below that accompanied this generous gift upon its presentation.
